An Epic full-day adventure to see what the Nuuk fiord has to offer

For the travelers who want the whole package of fishing, dining on the boat and at a restaurant, seeing the ice fiord and a settlement.

Join us right after breakfast for a tour to experience as much of the 2nd largest fiord system in the world, as possible in a single day.

We’ll start off by heading to Qoornoq – an abandoned settlement close to the ice fiord with great 360 degree views. The town is still used as a summer vacation spot – meaning there are a lot of modern cabins here and plenty of history.

After a short walk around the island, we’ll head into the ice fiord getting as close to Narsap Sermia Glacier as possible, sometimes the fiord is so full of ice that we can’t safely get close to the glacier, but we’ll explore the many icebergs and find a nice spot to enjoy lunch as we shut off the engine and listen to the ice.

From there we’ll head over to Uummannaq island where yóu can find remnants from Inuit settlements, and a couple of houses now used as summer cabins.

After exploring Uummannaq island for a bit, we’ll head south to go and catch a few fish, we have basic fishing gear onboard which we can use to catch cod and sometimes redfish, both make for a delicious meal at Restaurant Qooqqut Nuan which lies in the fiord too.

Having caught a few fish we’ll head to the restaurant with them for dinner, as the chef prepares the fresh catch we can go for a short hike amongst the planted trees that make for a unique sight in Greenland.

After a delicious meal at the restaurant, we’ll head on home being an experience of a lifetime richer.
