Experience the Icefiord north of Nuuk
The glaciers of Greenland are recovering quickly and many of them are already dead. This means that glaciers now stop producing icebergs, but instead, they just curb and melt on the ground, which means they stop cooling the ocean.
This excursion takes us into the Icefiord north of Nuuk, where most of the icebergs in and around the Nuuk region originates. A majestic display of icebergs in all shapes and colors.
We also include a short stop at the old abandoned settlement Qoornoq, where it will be possible to get of the boat to explore the area.
The tour is operated with our own Targa cabin boats with a heating system and indoor seatings for all. It is also possible to enjoy the cruise on the walkaround deck with comfortable seatings outside. There is also a toilet on the boats.
Lunch is also provided, as are coffee, tea or water.

When you go out on an adventure, it is strongly recommended to bring both the camera and the binoculars. It is also advisable to bring warm clothes. On this boat there is a heated cabin, but prepare and bring clothes that keep you warm, when you want to sit outside on the front deck. A neck warmer and shine is always good.
