Experience the Icefiord north of Nuuk
This excursion takes us into the Icefiord north of Nuuk, where most of the icebergs in and around the Nuuk fiord originate from. It’s a majestic display of icebergs in all sorts of shapes and blue tones, and luckily there are still quite a few of them here.
Here, north of the abandoned settlement of Qoornoq, we’ll find a good spot among the ice where we can enjoy the views whilst listening to the glistening ice as bubbles of air are released when they slowly melt away.
The tour is operated with our own Targa cabin boats with a heating system and indoor seatings for all. It is also possible to enjoy the cruise on the walkaround deck with comfortable seating outside.
Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate is complimentary.
*As this is a full day tour of 6 hours, you should remember to bring lunch !!
When you go out on an adventure, it is strongly recommended to bring both a camera and binoculars. It is also advisable to bring warm clothes for when you want to sit outside on the front deck.
