Fiord Adventure & Fishing

Join us on an epic combination tour with plenty of time to truly enjoy the views around the nearby mountains of the Nuuk fiord as well as fishing for cod and redfish for those wanting to bring something special home for dinner.

We’ll start off by heading into the Ikkattut fiord where a few cabins lie with epic views of the surrounding mountains, here we might drop off some of our passengers going on a snowshoe hike.

Afterwards we’ll head into the next bay called Itisooq where we can stop a little and try to catch some cod among the steep and gorgeous cliffs. For the extra adventurous this is a great place to jump in the ocean and cross off “the polar plunge” from their list.

Having enjoyed a cup of hot coffee here we’ll head into some of our favourite fishing spots which will depend on the waves and wind, this could very well be within the fiord of Qooqqut or just outside it by a frozen waterfall.

Having, hopefully, filled our bags with fish we’ll start the journey home, perhaps after picking up the snowshoeing party on the opposite side of the island.
