Join us for an unforgettable winter adventure as we explore the pristine wilderness surrounding Nuuk. Our guided snowshoe hike will take you from the heart of the city to the stunning viewpoint, which for the local snowmobilers is known as “Nedkørslen” where you'll be rewarded with panoramic vistas of the Nuuk fjord and its icy landscapes.

We'll start our journey at the Tide Water Steps in Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. From there, we'll drive to our starting point from which we’ll gradually gain elevation as we make our way towards the shelter by the viewpoint.

Our route will somewhat follow the snowmobile track, ensuring a safe and well-marked path. As we trek through pristine snow, keep an eye out for wildlife tracks and enjoy the peacefulness of the winter landscape.

The trail will challenge you with approximately 400 meters of elevation gain. But fear not—the stunning views awaiting you at the top will make every step worthwhile!

Upon reaching the viewpoint, we'll find a cosy shelter where we can rest, warm up, and enjoy a hot beverage. Take in the breathtaking scenery as you sip your tea or coffee—the fjord stretching out before you, framed by snow-capped peaks.

The Nedkørslen viewpoint offers a fantastic vantage point for photography enthusiasts. Capture the beauty of Greenland's winter wonderland—the icy fjord, rugged mountains, and perhaps even glimpses of local wildlife.

Lunch is not included, please make sure to bring your own food as it is a fairly long hike
