You can travel with no limits in Greenland with boats and flights.

From Greenland to Denmark

There are no limits on travelers from Greenland to Denmark.

From Denmark to Greenland

The borders of Greenland are closed till June 14´th.

June 15´th Greenland will open for 600 travelers per week on the route Copenhagen – Kangerlussuaq.

Travelers have the following restrictions:

  • Must show a maximum 5 days old negative corona test.
  • On arrival in Greenland the traveler goes directly in quarantine.
  • On day five in Greenland a new corona test is taken.
  • When this test is negative the quarantine is over.

We expect the next phase and more open travel in July. We will hopefully hear more good news from the government soon.

In Greenland there are only one infected with corona virus. 12 has been tested positive – and all 11 are healthy again. There is massive testing-strategy in Greenland. Greenland has one of the highest test rates in the world.

Taking precautions

Safety is always a major focus point for us in Nuuk Water Taxi. And so are Covid-19 issues. We care about our team can go to work in a safe environment – and we also care about our passengers and participants in our tours do have a safe and worry-free tour.

We follow all the instructions from the Public Health Authorities. We clean the boats thoroughly between each tours. Keep clean hands at all time – and keep proper distance. No employees nor passenger do get on the boat with any virus symptoms.

We have made our booking policy very friendly to the situation in the world right now.

If you should need to cancel your tour – you can rebook or refund until only 2 weeks before tour start.

Rebooking a tour into a new year might mean that a different charter rate may apply.
